SOHS Autumn Newsletter Part 2/3 - Date posted 06/10/2020

We’ve also been hosted by Kylie Roddy with members taking part in some great training, honing their skills in Kylie’s fantastic arena.

Our Polo players, both old and new, have also been kept busy over the summer and despite the absence of PC polo, many have taken part in tournaments. We’ve also been lucky enough to run some polo rallies and a big thank you goes to Laura for hosting. There continues to be some great playing talent within the branch, and it has been fantastic to see those taking their first steps into the sport this summer too.

Team events
After a busy summer, our attention now turns to our Autumn / Winter schedule. There’s already a great deal to look forward to for 2020 including the opportunity to compete as part of a South Oxfordshire Hunt South Team at the various inter-branch Pony Club shows.
The first set of event dates are live on the PC website here https://branches.pcuk.org/area12/important-dates/

New for next year is the Spring Festival which runs competitions in Dressage, SJ and Arena Eventing. We will try to keep you posted of local qualifying shows but full details can be found on the main Pony Club website.

There are many different competitions to get involved with and so if you are interested in joining a team, please email suz@susiwise.co.uk stating what height you would be looking to compete at.. Please note teams can be entered from 50cm and so there’s something for everyone including those just starting out in competition. It is a great opportunity to be a part of a team, make friends and represent your branch so please do get in touch if you’d like to join in.
