Workshops and Hambleden Horse Trials – important information. - Date posted 22/04/2013

After a well attended Easter Programme, the Friday evening workshops at Pyatts start next Friday 26th April, evening with Dressage. Sessions start approx 5.30 (Dressage ¾ hr sessions) and split into ability and of course when you are available after school. If you could let me (Helen, hanger.farm@virgin.net ) know the earliest time that you can start if not 5.30 via email that would be helpful.

Session can be booked online and close the Friday beforehand. So booking for the first session 26th April need to be done by tomorrow.

However, there is no session the following Friday 3rd May as we will preparing the course for Hambleden Horse Trials, so all hands will be required on deck.

Thursday evening from 6 pm – we will be putting up dressage arenas.

Friday – all day – marking the cross country course, stringing and raking ground lines, any help for an hour or so for that day would be good.

Saturday 11.30 help with erecting the Show Jumping course would very much be appreciated.

If you can help with any of these jobs please let myself hanger.farm@virgin.net or Hilary Martin hmartin@swbgs.com know, thank you.

Sunday – most of you will have been allocated a job but if not there are still a few positions to be filled please let me know and we will definitely find you something very useful to do.

Lucy Hill is collecting names of members for a rota as the Show Jumping arena Party and I am doing the Gate/car parking rota so please let me know if you can spare an hour or more!

At the end of the day which will hopefully be about 5 pm – all hands on deck to clear up and then we don’t need to go back on Monday. We would be grateful if someone had space in their vehicle to collect up all the rubbish and take it to the dump as most of our cars and lorries are full by the end of the day.

As per Laura James’s email earlier this week – we are still looking for sponsorship as this is our big fund raiser of the year which we use to subs
